the only option there is to only show on 1 or 2 but the game still defaults to screen 1, thx for the help, might give the guys at guru3d a shout. Scroll down there is a box to check off "Make this My Main Display" . Click on the screen you want as Primary then scroll down and click the box . scroll back up and you might see an "apply" click

Good morning, I have recently (about a week ago) purchased a HTC Vive. I have seen others play ETS2 in VR and it looks fun. But, I have tried to follow the guide available on Steam, but without the -openvr launch option, it opens in the Theater Mode, and with the -openvr, it does not launch at all.. It's really strangely addictive. I knew it was realistic as I drove into Newcastle with the rain beating down and the radio blaring out 80's bangers!! (loads of in game radio stations). I watched a few vids on setting it up right but it was pretty easy. A VR game you can play for a long long time if you get into it.

I guess it all depends on your computer / hardware / graphics-card. I've tried the various launching choices, and I seem to get best results / slightly better performance when I use the Launch with DirectX option. Euro Truck Simulator 2. I want to use ETS2 without having to use STEAM. Just saying: The overlay is only active when you press Shift+TAB while playing the game. Steam has to be running that is unavoidable, but turning off all the overlays and big picture is as simple as a few clicks..
